Women's 'Advance' coming in January

Looking to get away for a couple of days in January for a retreat experience?  Well, there is a group not too far away that values the retreat experience, but likes to think of it as an ADVANCE.  It takes place at Agape Bible Church in Willits, California.  This year this 'advance' is featuring national speaker and author Kathi Lipp.  Kathi is the author of six books including The Husband Project and Praying God's Word for Your Husband.  The dates are January 25th-26th and the prices vary depending on local accommodations.  A group of us attended several years ago and had a wonderful and spiritually enriching time.  Here is a link to all the information:   http://www.womensadvanceministries.com/

Showing Christ's Love Through Memorials

There will be a memorial here at the church this Tuesday for Jim Fulton. Sharon Grover writes, "Please say an extra prayer for our daughter Ranae and her two beautiful sweet, precious girls as they have lost their husband/father this past weekend." The Deaconesses need a little extra kitchen help and some food for the reception. This has been a season of loss for our church family.
