Thurday evening, January 17th, a study called "Organic God" by Margaret Feinberg starts in Bridgeville. Here's what this study is about:
"In our ever-changing world, simplicity is a craving. What if we could simplify our lives starting with our faith? Imagine what an organic relationship with God would look like when stripped of all pollutants, additives, and other distractions. The Organic God removes the unhealthy filters and purifies our relationship with the God of the Scriptures." - MargaretFeinberg.com
The study is 6 weeks long as is taking place at the home of Crystal Barrow in Bridgeville. For more information contact Hydesville Community Church at 768-3767.

Beth Moore's Revelation Study
The Monday night Beth Moore's Revelation Study is starting Monday, January 28th at 6:30 PM at the HCC campus. Janet Harward will lead this study and Rebecca Dahl will co-lead. This eleven week study will explore the wild imagery and deep messages of the Revelation book in Beth's well studies, dramatically articulated and thought-provoking way.
Our Friday morning study will start on Friday, February first with Stephanie Cochrane steering the ship! This morning study will also be at the HCC campus. The beauty of having two scheduled studies each week is that if one is missed, the other time is open to catch up!
Sign-ups start THIS Sunday, January 13th at the GroupLink event, right after second service. Lunch is provided!

Women's 'Advance' coming in January
Looking to get away for a couple of days in January for a retreat experience? Well, there is a group not too far away that values the retreat experience, but likes to think of it as an ADVANCE. It takes place at Agape Bible Church in Willits, California. This year this 'advance' is featuring national speaker and author Kathi Lipp. Kathi is the author of six books including The Husband Project and Praying God's Word for Your Husband. The dates are January 25th-26th and the prices vary depending on local accommodations. A group of us attended several years ago and had a wonderful and spiritually enriching time. Showing Christ's Love Through Memorials
There will be a memorial here at the church this Tuesday for Jim Fulton. Sharon Grover writes, "Please say an extra prayer for our daughter Ranae and her two beautiful sweet, precious girls as they have lost their husband/father this past weekend." The Deaconesses need a little extra kitchen help and some food for the reception. This has been a season of loss for our church family. Thank you for being so generous in showing your love in helping with the memorials. You may contact the church office (768-3767), post on the R.I.S.E. ministry page on facebook or contact Deaconess Grace Megazzi if you would like to help. Thank you.

Beth Moore's teaching on Revelation is communicated through this study called Here and Now...There and Then. Beth Moore has a great way of presenting "many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars". The book of Revelation is so action packed and mysterious. But one can't help but being drawn to talk of the end times when we see such cataclysmic change in the times in which we live! This sounds like a fascinating Bible study! Join us in the New Year!

Have You Heard of Priscilla Shirer?
Have you heard of Priscilla Shirer? Priscilla is a speaker and author. You may of heard of her father, Dr. Tony Evans, the Senior Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas. Priscilla, with a fine Biblical education in her own right, focuses on teaching the Bible to women. Her method is an expository teaching style. Prisiclla points to Anne Graham Lotz (daughter of Evangelist Dr. Billy Graham) as her mentor. Prisiclla also was inclued in an event called Deeper Still with Beth Moore and Kay Arthur. A next generation teacher, Beth Moore shared about Priscilla's minstry with the crowd at her own Living Proof conference. We are looking forward to presenting some Bible studies from Priscilla in the New Year. If you would like to read more about Priscilla Shirer, here is a link. http://www.goingbeyond.com/biography

A Blessing Be Upon Your Family

Now I lay me down to sleep; I pray thee, God, thy child to keep; Thy love stay with me all the night, And wake me with the morning light.
Now I lay me down to sleep; I pray the Lord my soul to keep; All through the night may angels spread protecting wings above my bed. Bless those I love, and those who love me; And grant us joy in serving Thee. God bless mommy, Daddy...And God bless me.
Jesus, tender Shepherd hear me; Bless Thy little lamb tonight; Through the darkness be Thou near me, Watch my sleep till morning light.
From Mothercraft by Margaretta Lundell
God Bless you and your family as we begin this summer season.
